Signing in
Table Host has no passwords. To sign in:
- Enter your email address
- We email you a 6-digit code
- Enter the code
If you've never signed in before, an account is created for you automatically and you'll be asked for your name to finish setting up. That's the whole process — the same flow covers both signing up and signing in.
Didn't get the code?
Codes can take a moment to arrive and sometimes land in spam. The sign-in screen has a Resend option once a short countdown finishes. Codes are single-use and expire, so always use the most recent one.
Staying signed in
Your session is remembered across the whole platform — the app, your host tools, and the documentation all share it. You won't be asked to sign in again when moving between them.
Sessions are refreshed quietly in the background while you're using Table Host. If you've been away long enough for a session to expire, you'll be returned to the sign-in screen, and after signing in you'll be taken back to the page you were trying to reach rather than dumped on the homepage.
To sign out, use Sign out in your profile menu. This ends the session on that device.
Guest and host modes
One account can be both a guest and a host. If you're both, your profile menu includes a toggle to switch between:
- Guest mode — browsing and ordering from other hosts
- Host mode — your dishes, reservations, and payouts
Switching is instant and changes nothing about your account — it just changes which set of tools you're looking at. If you're not a host yet, the menu offers Become a host instead.
Your profile
Guests can edit their profile from My account: name, phone, a short bio, and food preferences such as cuisines you like, dietary restrictions, and allergens.
Hosts have a fuller Business settings page covering their public host description, address, specialties, and payout details.
Keeping allergens and dietary restrictions up to date is worth doing — they're used when showing you dishes.
Privacy and security
- We never see your card details. Payments are handled by Stripe.
- Because sign-in is by email code, your account is only as secure as your email — keep that account protected.
- Signing out ends your session on that device.
